Carmel, CA

The Spanish Mission in Carmel is another place that surprises each and every vistor. It keeps the history of the old times, when the first spanish people arrived to the West Coast, to explore this amazing part of the world.
It can still be seen the old building that was the church and the houses surrounding them. A very colonial spot!

San Francisco, CA

It is true! It is a beautiful city!! San Francisco is definitely worth a visit! Several actually! The bay is in fact very special, and even for me, a portuguese from Lisbon, grown near a bridge such as the Golden Gate, San Francisco impressed me for the light (so similar to Lisbon's!), and for the bay, so wide and clear, that the water seems to never end on the other side of the ocean :)

Boston

Boston is an amazing city to visit. Although it looks like to be a "only student life" city, it actualy has lots of history and an incredible museum of Fine Arts.
It's definitly worth a visit with time to spend there :)

Haunted House - Gordon St, Savannah, GA - USA

Mercer House - Savannah, GA - USA

This is the Mercer House, the one that appears in the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
It is an amazing typical house from Savannah, with beautiful ceilings and big rooms, ball rooms, living rooms, and it has a pipe organ inside, within a wall.

Not only it is the house that appears on the movie, but it is the original house where the story actually took place (the movie tells the story of Jim Williams, a very wealthy man that lives in this sumptuous house and where... well, I can't tell the movie story here, just watch the movie!).

A place that everyone must stop by in Savannah.

Urbansketchers in Lisbon

I was lucky to be in Lisbon when the Urban Sketchers meeting happened in Lisbon.
I joined them to scketch the Terreiro do Paço.
However, after leaving my sketchbook for some days in the car, at the sun, the heat started "eating" my drawings, the ink vanishing...
I got them on time to save part of the drawings... but this is all I have now...

Charleston, a roof top...

A roof top in Charleston... with odd shapped ends made in iron, already rusty and green.

Il Cortile del Re

Also in Charleston, SC, also in King St., we found THE BEST Italian restaurant! Authentic Italian food, with authentic imported ingredients from Italy... a real mozarella di bufala with real prociutto and real olives... yumy!
All the restaurant is very nice inside: red wood walls with dark brown wood cabinets hold lots of wine bottles and other loquors, funny shapped glasses and old fashion art works hanged on the walls.

Startbucks Wall Pattern

In Charleston, SC, King St., Starbucks, second floor. The walls are covered with an amazing wall paper that makes it look like a home. In colors of beige and greens, it is very pretty....
It is very nice to rest here for a good couple of minutes.

The Fountain at Forsyth Park in Savannah,GA

Here is Savannah there is a big park, where lots of people walk, run, and take pictures. Every tourist stops by this fountain to take a picture as a souvenir, and most of the weddings start or end here for the Bride and Groom´s pictures.
It is actually a very pretty fountains. I leave here some details.
