Everywhere I go I take my sketchbook. Sketching is easier than taking pictures, or at least it is more reliable to your memory, because you do not sketch what is there, but only what you see... (I don´t see cars in front of buildings, I don't see electrical wires all over the place... Photos do.) ..and when you get home and open the sketchbook, you'll see what and how you saw, and you'll have the same feeling. I leave here some of my registers.

Peet's Coffee & Tea - Harvard Square
This is Peet's Cafe, in Harvard Square, Cambridge MA, a local coffee shop with a homey feeling, serving premium quality coffee and tea, and with those cookies that make us feel so comfortable in the snowy days.
With large windows with chairs looking to the outside, this coffee house invites us to stay for a morning or an afternoon, an hour or just some minutes, and enjoy its good ambiance.

Carmel, CA
The Spanish Mission in Carmel is another place that surprises each and every vistor. It keeps the history of the old times, when the first spanish people arrived to the West Coast, to explore this amazing part of the world.
It can still be seen the old building that was the church and the houses surrounding them. A very colonial spot!
San Francisco, CA
It is true! It is a beautiful city!! San Francisco is definitely worth a visit! Several actually! The bay is in fact very special, and even for me, a portuguese from Lisbon, grown near a bridge such as the Golden Gate, San Francisco impressed me for the light (so similar to Lisbon's!), and for the bay, so wide and clear, that the water seems to never end on the other side of the ocean :)
Boston
Boston is an amazing city to visit. Although it looks like to be a "only student life" city, it actualy has lots of history and an incredible museum of Fine Arts.
It's definitly worth a visit with time to spend there :)

Mercer House - Savannah, GA - USA
This is the Mercer House, the one that appears in the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
It is an amazing typical house from Savannah, with beautiful ceilings and big rooms, ball rooms, living rooms, and it has a pipe organ inside, within a wall.
Not only it is the house that appears on the movie, but it is the original house where the story actually took place (the movie tells the story of Jim Williams, a very wealthy man that lives in this sumptuous house and where... well, I can't tell the movie story here, just watch the movie!).
A place that everyone must stop by in Savannah.
